DEFENDERS

    Grant Goodall – defender who joined Town in summer of 2003 after 7 successful seasons at Marlow, where he was club captain. Grant’s unflappable style made was clearly appreciated by the Didcot followers who made him their Player of the Year for 2003-2004.

Glyn Jones – defender/midfielder who re-joined the club in 2004 after a season away with neighbours Wantage Town.  Glyn has a fantastic left foot and a good stamina.  Already scored more than 40 goals for Didcot in 250 appearances, we hope there’s plenty more!

Darren Beckett – defender/midfielder who joined the club in the summer of 2005.  Very experienced and won the Hellenic Premier while at his previous club, Brackley Town.

Paul Bedwell – defender who re-joined the club in the summer of 2005 after a season away at Wantage.  Very committed and will die for the cause, he is ever popular with the supporters..

Dave Green -  defender/midfield.  Big Dave joined us in July 2004 and immediately made impressed with his unflappable style and gritty determination.  Could prove to be one of Stuart Peace’s most astute signings. 

Danny Campbell -  defender.  Started out at Portsmouth school of excellence before becoming a trainee at Oxford Utd.  Danny moved to us from AFC Wallingford in the close season.  Very composed and a natural ball-player.

Paul Hannigan -  defender/midfield.  Very versatile player, Paul is happy in defence or in midfield.  Joined us in the summer of 2004, unfortunate to break his knee-cap two months into the season.   Looks a very important signing.
