Beverley & Rowland were both brought up with animals and that's where they met at a hunt ball. In 1977 they bought their first cocker a B/w Courtdale bred bitch, although not much to look at she helped us learn the ropes. We were then very lucky to be befriended by Ron/Tyd Bebb (Ronfil) and Howard/Eirlys Jones (Matterhorn) and spent many an evening at their kennels. We would like to think that some of their knowledge rubbed off on us.

In 1982 we aquired a bitch from Howard called Matterhorn Manor Born and she would be our first big winner.

Unfortunately due to work and family commitments we only get to half of the shows that we would like. In 1990 we visited the cocker speciality in Allentown Pennsylania USA. It was the worst thing we had ever done as now we can't keep away and are absolutely besotted with the place. In one year we visited three times.

Over the last 20 years we have been active members of the South Wales & Mon Cocker Club, Beverly at one time being assistant secretary and at the moment Roly is Chairman. We are very proud to be associated with this illustrious club.
