      Three-Peaks - full details with routes and pictures of an attempt planned for June 10th 2000 by a team from North Devon. Very well made site, with message board. Well worth a look.

      Heart Research - this charity organises a Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge each year. Test your fitness and equipment before the big challenge on this 26mile walk, climbing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Held in June.
      Woodenspoon Four Peaks Challenge - The Woodenspoon Society organise this challenge to climb the four highest peaks in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (Carantouhill)
      Four Peaks Challenge - Jason Crawfords attempt to organise a cycle challenge between the UK four peaks, with a row across the North Channel, and ascent of Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland.
      Multi-map - Mapping and information site. Enter a location and find a map of the area to your required scale (not good enough for walking) and details of B&B, hotels, campsites, tourist info, outdoor shops, services, etc., which have websites, within your chosen area. Very useful website.
      Maps WorldWide - Internet map shop with over 10,000 items for sale. Save up to 35% (according to advert - let me know!!) Also large range of guide books. Free postage on 15 orders or over.
      Ordnance Survey - OS mapping site, interesting information about their maps and other services.
      Harvey Maps - Good range of walking maps available from their on-line store.
      Met Office - Check the weather reports before you leave. Plenty of information, current weather, forcasts, etc., from the Met Office.
      Lakeland Cam - Photo's posted daily on this site from around the Lake District. Good idea of conditions on the fells in the area.
      Nevis Cam - Live webcam trained on Ben Nevis 24 hours a day. Find the cam and you could be live on the net (we can't find it...).
