Welcome to the Merseyventure Website.
The pages on this part of the site make up a guide for anyone considering the UK Three Peaks Challenge.
The Three Peaks Challenge is to climb the highest peaks in England (Scafell), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon) within a twenty-four hour period. To complete the three peaks challenge, you will have to drive some 500 miles, walk over 20 miles and climb over 10,000 feet.
The Three Peaks Challenge introduction page explains what challengers should expect during their attempt and should ideally be read first.
The three peaks (Ben Nevis | Scafell | Snowdon) themselves are covered on their own pages, each with a general location map, route description and information about the area.
The driving page has a route map and description, details of service stations and parking details. Also a list of things you will have to do whilst travelling.
Visit the three peaks links page to see other challengers websites, and pick up some good help and tips before you attempt your first challenge.
Click here to enter a three peaks and adventure racing forum for all types of outdoor pursuits information and advice.
