IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH.

3) The Word of God (The Logos).

-b) The Formation of Scripture.

The Creator first spoke to Adam instructing him in the truth of life and Creation. As Adam and his descendants preserved the revelation of God in their memories, chosen vessels brought the truth of divine history down to Noah. Noah with his sons took these words of history through the days of the great deluge, and the story of the beginning was scattered after Babel across the world.
The chosen people of Abraham were given the task of preserving the divine history in a written scriptural format, and some generations later when the people of Israel were in bondage in Egypt, Moses was called out of the world to be the minister of the truth of God and provided the holy scriptures as a written history to be a testament for all generations. Moses continued to write the inspired history of Israel and the message of God to this people, until a new prophet took his place when he died.
