Breakfast
Beverly frequently enjoys morning tea or breakfast with Jean-Luc in his quarters.
She innocently crashes in on an embarrassed Jean-Luc with Vache in Qpid. However we have to wait until The Perfect mate to see what goes on between Beverly and Jean-Luc in the morning.
Jean-Luc later gets distracted from Beverly in Lessons, but she's still in The Chase, the very next episode. Their culinary mateship culminates in Attached when they share a table at both ends of the day.

Necks too
It's quite common and no surprise to see Beverly regularly sitting next to Jean-Luc at social functions. Of course not only are they good friends who share breakfast together, but Beverly out-pips all the captain's other officers except Riker. Examples are in Haven at Troi's engagement banquet and at the musical recital in Sarek.
Beverly sits next to the captain on the bridge to face their death of cold asphyxiation together in The Last Outpost.

Contractions
Unlike their metallic matey, the doctor and captain can use shorthand words, though only once each with each other. Jean-Luc calls Beverly "Bev" in The Naked Now. Beverly calls Jean-Luc "Jean" in The Last Outpost.
