Beverly is pretty much taken by surprise when the false captain pays her a visit in her office with an invitation to dine with him in his quarters.
	After their meal, they agree that they missed each other during the doctor's year out.
Beverly tames the rather forward imposter by telling him that she is happy with their relationship just as it is now, with both of them respecting a degree of professional detachment. After a smoochy dance and a kiss, Jean-Luc's copy starkly curtails their evening, leaving Beverly stunned.
After the returned real captain gets wind of his doppleganger's escapdes, his uneasiness is hightened further when Beverly gets her own back by sitting at his side on the bridge to give him a wickedly knowing look.
