Good luck to you Mark As you know I had started to do something (and setup an excomms website) about 3 years ago but time flies!!  Apart from posting the old 'Snortys' I never got anything done as time flies so much - even when sposed to be 'retired'  Being me of course I got involved in EMing a 'few' Match of the Days and ended up doing loads last winter. Then the Election came about and I did 50 site surveys from Newcastle to Torquay and Forset of Dean to Cromer as well as overnight on election night.  However I have finally stopped doing hard stuff as was at portland House with Nick Fuller and 'old man' Mike Dayman for teh VE day stuff and knackered my getting worse hip and knee carrying stuff up/down all those stairs. Just keep to CP now!!  You may find getting stuff hard as some people like to keep quiet about things and are lazy. Was in contact with Alan Thompson at Radio Reading (called barkshire now isn't it - where u were) cos he wrote in Prospero (BBC old farts paper) about John Peel shows from the 60s and I have about 8hrs worth on reel to reel - may send them to him cos he is involved with a US University collecting such things. Takes so long transcribibng to PC and cleaning up in cooledit and coding to CD/MPs. Have done loads of old Goon shows and I'm Sorry I'll Rad Tha at again though for myself.
