At the awards ceremony that night it was announced that Kimmo had won, but he was not there to collect his trophy and prize money! He was over 100 miles away in Chesterfield, performing at a private party!
On the following evening, the President of Blackpool Magicians Club presented the handsome trophy, but there was more to follow..
Comedy legend Ken Dodd took to the stage and announced that Kimmo had also been awarded the Ken Dodd Trophy for outstanding comedy performance at the convention.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY THAT THIS AWARD HAS BEEN WON BY A CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINER! A UNIQUE ACHIEVEMENT!
