What
is the largest / smallest audience you can perform
for?
No
audience is too large (unless the venue is not big enough
to accommodate it! Please do check this!)
Very small audiences can be difficult to work for - I would
suggest (but not insist on) a minimum of ten children.

Are my
children too old / young?
No. I have shows for all age groups from pre-schoolers (3)
to adults. Mixed age groups are also catered for. If you are
unsure - just give me a call!

How much space do you require?
Again, I have shows to suit (almost) all requirements. Just
fill me in on the space available when you book.

Do
you perform outdoors?
Given the correct conditions, yes. Please do always
have a contingency plan in case of inclement weather.
Remember that high winds are as troublesome as rain.

Do you play party
games with the children?
No. I have experimented with this in the past but
it always seemed to detract from the performance.
It seems silly to pay someone to do something that
any parent is more than equipped to do themselves.

Do you work as a clown?
I have never, do not and will never work as a clown.
Many small children find them horrific, a lot of older
kids are embarrassed to be seen watching one perform.
Clown make up is designed to be seen from a distance
and in my opinion is TOTALLY UNSUITABLE for intimate
performing conditions at children's parties etc. I
do not need a red nose and big shoes to be funny.
Fetes and festival organisers please note - unless
you wish to deeply offend me never, never, NEVER advertise
me as Kimmo the Clown!

Do you make a
balloon animal for each child?
At very small birthday parties, yes. Otherwise by
prior arrangement only.

Do you
have live animals in the show?
My animals are all LARGER THAN LIFE! The children
will be thrilled to be able to have a conversation
with a crazy blue gorilla or a dizzy dodo! The standard
show NO LONGER features a live rabbit. As our performances
became more popular the poor little fellow sometimes
ended up working a 10 hour day! As a family pet, he
is now a much happier bunny!

How early
should I ring to make a booking?
As early as possible. The busiest time of the year is December,
followed by July and August. Weekends are also popular throughout
the year.
