SEVEN
With Hopper gone, Roy Babbington was now on
bass full time ( both double bass and bass guitar )
There are definate "rock" influences creeping in on
this album (much shorter tracks) and it was to be the last album
before the guitar once again returned on "Bundles" (Soft
Machine had been guitar-less since the departure of Kevin Ayers
after "Volume 1" ).
