Pruriant began in 1997. Pruriant envelops
all kinds of noise experimentation ranging from sound collage to
soundscape to vocal hardnoise.
Conceptually, Pruriant has incorporated existential "reality
checks" concerning the views of nature vs technology
presenting grey areas of "moddom": a state at which the
world simply "is", devoid of opinions and moral
conceptions.
Other themes are societal effects of pop culture and mass
marketing focusing on the fashion industry in specific.
Currently Pruriant attempts to explore everyday common evil
existing in the most mundane objects, circumstances and actions.
Pruriant is a highly inward emotional response to the hell of
everyday life.
