New release from Electronic Musik artists 'Sebastian'
Comprising Ian Simpson (electronics) and Lewis Gill (guitar), Sebastian have a new release on Tim Bowness's (No Man, Darkroom) Burning Shed label.
It features about an hour of dense electronic soundscapes with some wonderful improvised guitar and is entitled 'Hugh Hoppers Base'.
It was recorded in late 2001 and marks the first release for this particular project who are currently recording a second album. Both Lewis and Ian are memebers of guitar improvisation quartet, 'Psychiatric Challenge', whose work is available through this website.

New release from 'Ian Simpson' on the Statisfield label

This is the first release of the music Ian recorded for the 2001 Numero arts festival in Lisbon last November.
It features three sections based on one theme and was originally inspired by early 70's german electronic music from artists such as Cluster and Tangerine Dream.
