We have received info about a new music store opening in Lincoln. The new shop at Wild English is run by people who understand what musicians' needs are. All staff working in the shop are either currently are or have been working as professional musicians. They offer sound advice on a wide range of services including buying and selling instruments, amplifiers & accessories, part exchanges and they also offer an instrument repair service.

There's just one problem for the proprietors of the new shop at Wild English, they cannot come up with the right name for it! Can you?

We need something that reflects the atmosphere and ideology of the shop. A laid back and relaxed approach, offering help and advice from professional musicians, helping you choose the right instrument for you, with no hard sell!

Write your suggestions for the name of the shop on a slip of paper along with your name and address and place it in the in-store postbox. The successful entry will receive an acoustic guitar worth over £100 and the winning name will appear on a sign above the shop.

The competition closes at 7.00pm Saturday 30th September, the winner will be announced in-store on Saturday 7th October.

OFFICIAL LAUNCH ~ SATURDAY 30th SEPTEMBER

Whilst the new shop has already opened its doors, the official opening launch will take place on Saturday 30th September from 10.00am to 7.00pm. The day will feature some of the UK's top musicians playing & demonstrating instruments & equipment in the store. Local guitar maker A.J. Lucas will be available for consultation and will have some of his hand made instruments on show.

Deano Baptiste will be instore demonstrating Burns guitars Bass Collection basses and Hartke Bass amplification.
