Q1/ didn't beat Fizgig Website visitor Clare, who correctly answered that the band whose one chart success came when 4 of the 5 group members were serving in the RAF, were Hedgehoppers Anonymous, whose hit record 'It's Good News Week' reached number 5 in the chart in the Autumn of 1965. Q2/ Oddly this question beat everyone, including all our folk fans, many of whom will have heard the song performed live (some perhaps during the week the question was displayed!) - the answer was Harvey Andrews.

Q3/ Another question that beat Fizgig visitors! ~ Chris Rea was once a member of a local professional band Magdelene, which now famous singer did he replace when he joined that band in 1973.

Q4/ Mark Addison, who produces the weekly folk diary on BBC Radio Lincolnshire answered this question correctly ~ Jazz guitarist John Etheridge, who is currently touring his tribute to Stephane Grappelli show & also leads his own band The Zappatistas who have also toured the region recently. But which famous jazz rock band did John join in 1975/6, & which violinist who later made his name in a famous folk rock band was also in that band's line up?

Answer - The band was Soft Machine, the violinist was Ric Sanders (of Fairport Convention)
