Added Jan 2004

Peterborough band Sumo formed in 2002, following the break up of Boba Fett. The trio features Mark Pullen (guitar / vocals), Sean Parkinson (bass / vocals) & Ian Schroeder (drums).

The band's live sets feature a range of covers including timeless classics from The Jam, The Kinks, Nivana and Elvis Presley, to modern songs by bands such as Stereophonics and Supergrass.

Sumo began gigging around Peterborough in March 2003, and soon the bookings diary was filling up. In the summer of that year they were one of the acts to appear at the Willow Festival.
