Smokescreen formed in 2001, founder members included guitarists Matt Kidd and Tom Loose and singer Sam Loose who are still in the band. Originally their sound was influenced by Metallica / Iron Maiden, this has developed and the band now have a more modern style of metal.

Their latest line up featuring Oli Walkers (drums) and former Bonesaw bassist Dave, has been together since Autumn 2003.

They completed the recording of their new EP 'Regret-Redeem-Refine' in Jul 2006, 2 of the new tracks from the EP are up on the myspace page www.myspace.com/smokescreenuk and have already clocked up several hundred listens each. The new EP should be available in Early September 06.

They recorded their debut EP 'Welcome To Death's Door' which features 5 original songs, in August 2003. That EP is available to order below for £4, It features 5 songs which are, Driven, Turning In the Grave, Deaths Door, Method Of Infection and Cant See Why.
