BUSTER BLOODVESSEL'S BAD MANNERS - Led by the memorable Buster Bloodvessel, no members of Bad Manners couldn't actually play an instrument when they formed in 1976, & were signed without recording a demo! Whilst their ska two-tone counterparts fell by the wayside from the mid 80's, Bad Manners stoically carried on, despite being banned from Italy for 10 years, (how was Buster to know that the Pope was watching when he 'moonie' on stage!). Two decades on finds Bad Manners still one of the best live acts around, perhaps this is because they just love performing Live!

GORDON HASKELL - Unknown crooner who hit gold with the jazz ballad 'How Wonderful You Are' just before Christmas 2001. Whilst Gordon was virtually unknown in the modern pop world until the hit (which became the most requested song in Radio 2's history), he has actually some pedigree within the music world, working as a guest vocalist and bass player on King Crimson's 'In The Wake Of The Poseidon' album and on the band's third LP 'Lizard' (following in the footsteps of Greg Lake!). He left the band in Dec 1970, just 2 days after the release of 'Lizard' to take up a solo career releasing 'It Is and It Isn't' in 1974, the follow up to 'Sail In My Boat' released in 1969. After this Gordon slipped into obsurity, working on cruise ships and doing pub gigs, until he wrote the hit single in his local supermarket in 10 minutes! Such is the interest in Gordon's music, he will be signing a 4 album deal worth £2.8 million deal with Warner Brothers! Feb 2002 finds him playing back in the pubs when he appears at the Spiders Web in Grimbsy with Hamish Stuart (ex Average White Band) and Robbie McIntosh (ex The Pretenders) ~ both musicians were members of Paul McCarthney's last touring band.

MARTYN JOSEPH - Martyn released his latest CD entitled 'Tangled Souls' (on the Grapevine label) in 1998. As usual the album is full of meaningful songs, 12 in total, including 2 co-written with Stewart Henderson, some of these featured on Bob Harris's shows. For us & many others our first encounter with Martyn's music was 'Dolphins Make Me Cry' in 1992, when he also toured with Chris De Burgh. DENNIS LOCORRIERE - The voice of Dr Hook, a founder member & lead vocalist / guitarist with Dr Hook, from the band's beginnings through to its 1985 Farewell Tour. Cast your mind back to those romantic smoochy songs such as 'Sexy Eyes', 'A Little Bit More', 'Better Love Next Time' & the song that brought the band to the attention of the British public back in 1972, 'Sylvia's Mother' ~ it was Dennis's velvet voice that you heard. KIRSTY McCOLL - Kirsty 41, the daughter of folk singer Ewan MacColl was killed in a tragic accident in Dec 2000. She had a number of hit records, including the alternative Christmas hit 'Fairytale Of New York' & her first hit 'There's a Guy Works Down The Chipshop Swears He's Elvis'. She released what was sadly to be her last album 'Tropical Brainstorm' in March 2000.

ZOE McCULLOCH & FRIENDS - Zoe McCulloch is a 14 year old guitar wizard who has spent the last 3 years learning her craft & winning the admiration & hearts of audiences all over Europe with her incredible playing. Zoe is a regular performer at Bruce Welch's annual Shadowmania convention & has 2 CD's to her credit, the first a tribute to The Shadows, while her second features some great ABBA tunes. STEVE STEINMAN'S MEATLOAF2 - Forming his first Meat Loaf show as long ago as 1989, Steve Steinman has become one of the best-known tribute acts in the world today. Performing initially at small cabaret venues, Steve auditioned for TV's 'Stars In Their Eyes' & appeared on the show in 1993, singing 'Bat Out Of Hell'. He was invited back to perform on the Christmas special. These TV appearances were the launching pad for what at that time was the only Meat Loaf tribute show in existance, Steve & his band toured the UK & Ireland during 1994, since then Steve has performed in South Africa, at the mecca of that country's venues, Sun City & toured that country. He has also met Meaf Loaf during a Big Breakfast interview on the show with Meat Loaf himself. This gave him the chance to ask Meat Loaf if he minded doing a tribute show to him. IAN MOOR - Ian first hit the spotlight when he won Granada TV's 'Stars In Their Eyes' final to become champion in 1999. He then went on to win the Champions Of Champions Show staged to celebrate 10 years of the top-rated programme. His performance as Chris De Burgh singing 'Lady In Red' recorded 500,000 votes, over half the total cast. An exceptional achievement for an exceptional talent. Since his stunning debut Ian's popularity has grown due to the rare combination of a voice of great purity and the ability to interpret any song & give it his own distinctive style. EDDI READER - Eddi came from Glasgow to London in the 80's & soon gained a reputation for being one of Britain's most sought after session vocalists. She has toured with acts such as The Eurythmics & The Gang Of Four, but is perhaps best remembered for her time with the band Fairground Attraction, whose album 'First Of A Million Kisses' & single 'Perfect' both topped the British charts. Since then she has carved out a solo career, with several successful albums and appearance at the Cambridge Folk Festival.

KEV REYNOLDS - Previously with Procal Harem, originally from Yorkshire, Kev started his professional career in 1969 at the age of 15, as a guitarist with a big band & worked with named bands in the 70's, including world famous hit recording band Procal Harem. Kev embarked on his solo career in 1980. In 1986 he was voted Entertainer of the year in the South West & in 1989 Entertainer of the Year for Kent.

RAISED ON ROCK - A show that tells some of the stories behind rock'n'roll in Britain, coupled with the music of the late 50's - early 60's, 42 of the greatest rock'n'roll songs ever, performed by artists who were part of that scene, Vince Eager (from Grantham), Wee Willie Harris, Big Jim Sullivan & Reunion & The Corsaires. Vince started his career in showbiz in the mid 50's in Grantham pantomimes, later he was a member of the popular skiffle band The Vagabonds, before being spotted by impresario Larry Parnes. RON RYAN - Performer playing popular hits, it is rumoured that Ron wrote the hit 'Bits & Pieces' for the Dave Clark 5, though we haven't been able to confirm this and the song is credited to Dave Clark & Mike Smith, interestingly in an early semi professional version of the Dave Clark 5, which featured singer Stan Saxon, Mick Ryan was one of the musicians ....!

THE SOUL SOLUTION - Lincoln based big soul band playing dynamic soul covers with a modern edge that's great for dancing to. CURTIS STIGERS - Curtis Stigers is perhaps best known for his early 90's top 10 hit 'I Wonder Why', but in addition to having a great voice he is also a gifted songwriter, saxophonist & guitarist. He has contributed to the soundtrack of the film, 'The Bodyguard' & made numerous appearances on TV and toured throughout the world with the likes of Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, The Allman Brothers Band & Joe Cocker.

TALON - The No. 1 Eagles tribute band bring their show 'The Best Of The Eagles' to the Palace Theatre in Newark. 'This truly amazing concert has to be seen to be believed.' T.REXTASY - Top flight T Rex tribute band, (with the emphasis on band, rather than cabaret act!) - formed in 1992, playing their first gig 15 years almost to the day after Marc Bolan died. Since then T Rextasy earnt the respect of T Rex's contemporaries, touring with The Sweet, Status Quo & Ian Hunter amoung others, they have also appeared at festivals with acts from the modern era such as Dodgy & Blur, their Glam rock live shows appealing to a wide audience. TTORRIA - One of Lincolnshire's top pop acts - orginally featuring three glamorous singers, Ttorrz - alias Victoria Wilding, Sam Brocklesby and Maddy Wilding. Sam left the group in 2002, she has been replaced by new singer Lucy. The personnel change has changed Ttorria's sound slightly, and the vocal group will have a new image for 2003. They will be releasing a new album in 2003, and new posters and t-shirts will also be available reflecting the groups new image. The group have many commitments around the UK and abroad, including summer seasons at top resorts, hence appearances in their home county are limited, in 2001 they performed a special charity concert in aid of Cancer Research. JUDIE TZUKE - Judie first hit the music scene in the late 70's with the hit single 'Stay With Me Till Dawn' (sadly her only hit!), and several accomplished albums. Into the 21st century Judie continues to write stunning new songs, & took the significant step of releasing her music on her own record label Big Moon Records via her website & live appearances in the mid '90's, before many other artists had attempted this. With the return of Bob Harris to Radio Two, who regularly features songs from albums such as 'Secret Agent' (released in the late 90's), her music once again received the airplay it deserves.
