NIGEL PORTASS PROJECT

Jazz group led by keyboard player Nigel Portass, who has been playing in bands since the sixties, performing across the UK. He has also played in backing groups for artists such as Chuck Berry, Tom Jones, Ronnie Scott and Van Morrison, to name but a few. Nigel also plays in groups playing other genres of music too.

For their pre-Christmas jazz night at the Riverside Bar & Restaurant in Sutton Bridge, the Project will be joined by George McKay, a top jazz saxophonist from Norwich. He has worked with Dick Heckstell-Smith and currently works with the Lee Vasey Big Band, jazz group Speedometer and Paul Tinklers Part Time Blues Band, a Norfolk based act.
