FOLK, BLUES & BEYOND
with Alberta & Mississippi Bill
Following changes in the Target Series Newspaper Group policy we have, sadly after over 11 years, been put into a position where we feel we are currently no longer able to provide our weekly Folk, Blues and Beyond articles for publication in the Target. Barry Thistleton's Country Corner has also been affected by these changes, thus reducing the Target's Leisure pages music coverage.
If you purchased the Target because of 'Folk, Blues & Beyond', or just enjoyed reading our articles, and have found them informative and a helpful guide as to where to go and see live music in the Lincolnshire region, we encourage you to write directly to the editor at the address below to express your views so that he may reconsider the changes that have caused us to decide to stop writing Folk, Blues & Beyond. Remember 'Nothing is achieved by Apathy'

Our weekly column in the Target Newspaper brought news of forthcoming music events taking place around the Mid Lincolnshire, (United Kingdom) between Mar 1994 and Sep 2005. Due to space events were on occasions cut from our original articles, the full articles were though displayed in the Folk, Blues & Beyond area of the Fizgig website.
Due to a change in policy at the Target newspaper, we are unfortunately no longer in a position to publish our weekly articles, however we do hope that bands and venues will continue to send information to us so we can include info about gigs on the Fizgig website which continues to be used as a source of information by both BBC Radio Lincolnshire and Lincs FM, as well as those who visit our website regularly.
