Probably the finest example of the new 'young bloods' of the British blues scene, this powerhouse blues rock band play progressive, rock driven blues with it's 60's influences. Formed in 1995, the band works extensively throughout the U.K. and Europe, and has fast become established as one of the most dynamic and exciting three piece outfits around.

Subsequently they have been in constant demand on the club and festival circuit and performed their 1000th gig in the summer of '98 with reviews that make you wonder why we haven't heard more of them in the national media. They played at both Colne and Burnley Blues Festivals in recent years.

This rockin' three piece is made up of professional, experienced musicians with long and creditable histories playing with recognised names around the world. The central figure is guitarist and singer, Peter Orr who writes all the original material and who has enjoyed considerable success with a top ten hit in North America, as well as radio and TV exposure in the U.K. and Europe. Session work with Mike Stock and Jack Bruce add to Pete's extensive live performance experience. Before moving to the London area where The Electric Experience are based, Pete lived in Lincoln.

"A thundering raw talent" (Pat Marsh of BBC Radio) "Excellent lead guitarist", (Time Out).

No blues band however would be complete without a rock solid rhythm section, Andy Tollman (Bass) and John Tonks (Drums and Vocals) completing this outstanding trio's line-up fit the bill.

The band plays a wide range of material featuring original songs from their albums as well as a selection of classic blues and rock from such legends as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. They have released a number of albums including 'Up From The Ground' in the late 90s.
