Updated May 2017 with UK Tour Dates

A unique duo from Holland! - Both sing & play guitar, in addition AG plays the autoharp while Kate plays 5 string banjo & mountain dulcimer. Infectious & endearing folk style vocals combined with old time country instrumentals, the duo play a fasinating mix of country, folk & Gospel music & have recorded over 20 albums.

AG & Kate spend most of the year on the road touring music clubs, concert halls, festivals, churches & prisons in their homeland, across the USA & throughout the UK.

They started performing 70s and played at the Wembley Country Music Festival, the Peterborough Country Music Festival & the Greenbelt Christian Festival and at top venues in the USA, including The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree & many bluegrass festivals.

Their lives were changed on a UK tour in the early 80s, when the folk-singing islanders of the Shetland Islands introduced AG & Kate to the old folk hymns, adding a new dimension to their musical repertoire. In 1989 the duo were invited to do a program in a prison, since then their tours have included prisons across the UK and States as well as concerts which help support their work with prisoners.

Inspired initially by Johnny Cash, AG & Kate have a great love of country music, in recent years their shows included many songs from the Carl Smith and Jimmy Dean songbooks. Over the years, they have developed an extensive repertoire of songs and they introduce new songs each year to keep their shows fresh and entertaining. They have a wealth of recordings, including many on vinyl in the 70s and 80s. Some of these earlier recordings such as the delightful 'On The Sunny Side' have been transferred to CDs, as well as new material and even special Christmas shows recorded at their own 'Grand Ole Opry' in Holland.
