Rule IV. That the Patron of the Society be invited to accept of this honorary situation for life.

Rule V. That the same offer be made to the Honorary President of the Society.

Rule VI. That a certain number of Honorary Vice-Presidents be chosen from this cklass of members annually; care being taken that of those so chosen there may be a sufficient number resident in the country, to ensure the opportunity of one or more being present at the meetings of the Society.

Rule XV. That, in addition to the Ordinary Managers specified, (Rule XIV) Two Auditors, from the class of Ordinary Members, shall be appointed at the Annual General Meeting; whose duty it shall be to examine, at the end of each year, the accounts and state of the funds, as laid before them by the Managing Committee; and the approving certificate and signature of the said Auditors to the accounts so produced for examination, shall be necessary before the same can be presented to the General Meeting of the Society. Further, that the said Auditors shall have no other concern in managing the ordinary business of the Society than is specified in this rule.
